The last week in a nutshell
The season in Taghazout traditionally starts to wind down from about now; that’s not the case this year. We’ve still been getting plenty of waves up and down the coast with the guys scoring some great waves at Killers and Boilers the other day!
Summer’s a perfect time to head over to Morocco to learn to surf. The water’s warm, less crowded and the waves that come through are perfect waist high waves to learn on – absolutely ideal conditions for beginners! We’ve also got a 25% discount on any surf camp bookings for the rest of the season. Drop matt an email on matt@surfberbere.com to see what we can do for you.
After the success of our Gap Year program this year, we’ll be running two for the next season - one in September and one in January. If you or anyone you know fancies a career change, then why not do something amazing for 3 months?
Ella (our fantastic yogi) is leaving Taghazout this month to move onto bigger and better things. She’s been a wonderful addition to the Surf Berbere team impressing and inspiring us all with her poses, postures and savasana. Thanks for all your hard work Ella!
Finally the café’s going from strength to strength with the guys rocking out some incredible Tajines each weekend. What’s more is that we were blessed by the presence of a pod of Orca’s the other day at breakfast! Don’t worry though, they stay in deep water, but what a sight to see!
