Hello 2012!
Well we had a great Christmas and New Years period! Christmas saw us roasting a 15kg turkey for about 30 guests, New Years was celebrated in true Berbere style with a good 70 guests on our Taghazout roof top terrace, and to top it all off New Years day brought sunshine and swell! How was your festive season?
Bristol and Durham universities descended on us last week. Although the waves tapered off towards the end of their stays, a group of happy students left the surf camp life of relaxation, lounging around and having fun to return to a life of…oh wait…
We have our regular ErrantSurf Longboard training week starting in a few days and there looks to be some perfect longboarding swell on the horizon. If anyone is interested in getting on the next week, or finding out more about these fantastic courses run by one of the UK’s top Longboarders Chris Thomson, drop us an email at contact@surfberbere.com
Finally our annual surf instructor course and surfari starts on 12th February. Due to the unstable nature of the BSA/Surfing GB we’re running the Academy of Surfing Instructors (ASI) course this year round. ASI qualifications are internationally recognised as some of the most thorough and comprehensive surfing instructor qualifications in the world. As always, our course are run by top surf instructor, former European Ironman, and all round nice guy Nick Thorn. For more information click here!
