Teacher Profile

Our resident Yoga instructor, Lucie has over 10 years of experience in Yoga. Her love for her art has taken her all over the world from Hawaii, Canada, Australia and of course Morocco. Her yoga classes are for all levels and abilities and are in mixed Ashtanga and Hatha styles. Lucie teaches a fantastic mix of Pranayama (breathing exercises), energizing and relaxing Asanas (yoga poses) and a deep restorative Savasana. Each class is personalized to those present, creating inner and outer balance. Allow yourself to unwind as Lucie guides you to improve focus, flexibility and core strength.

Surf Berbere’s location for practicing the beautiful art of yoga is just perfect. Our Luxury Killer Point apartments provide a beautiful wooden and glass Pagoda overlooking the blue Azure. Providing shade when the Moroccan sun is too strong, the Pagoda’s sliding glass doors give a spacious and open feel and allows those practicing to feel relaxed, at ease and calm in a beautiful, tranquil environment. The lapping waves of the Atlantic are your sound track as Lucie takes you through the poses. Yoga sessions at Surf Berbere melt away the stress and improve your health, wellbeing and vitality.

Accommodation

The Killer Point apartments are the height in luxury. Each apartment is fitted with fully functional American style kitchens, huge comfortable beds, flat screen TV’s, Monsoon showers and private terraces. There is an open air grill for the guests to use and the infinity pool is the only one in the area and you have exclusive access to it.

Food

As our guests often have special dietary needs and tastes, The Surf Berbere Yoga Holidays are all self catered. Each apartment is equipped with a fully functional kitchen which includes and oven hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Every Wednesday we organise a trip to the local Banana Village souk where you can stock up all the beautiful local delicacies you require. Agadir is only a short drive away also and there you can find many supermarkets and shops similar to that which you would find in Europe.

Day Trips

We can take you off to Immouzer or as the locals call it - Paradise Valley. There is only one road in the village. The friendly inhabitants and the simple houses make it clear you are well off the beaten track. Chill out in tranquillity and seclusion of the waterfalls. Take a plunge in the rock pools, or trek through the forests – something of a rarity in Morocco. Why not treat yourself to a four handed massage at the local hammam? Want to get a few gifts for back home? We’ll take you to the Agadir Souks or if you want to see the local countryside a little more jump on a camel. We can even organise quad biking excursions for the petrol heads out there. When you arrive at on your holiday, just ask one of the Surf Berbere staff!

Car Hire

Surf Berbere provides each group of guests with a 5 seater Dacia so that you can explore the area, pick up food and generally have the freedom needed to get the most out of the incredible country that is Morocco. We’ll deliver the car to your accommodation and at the end of your stay just leave the keys with us!
